These camps offer the ideal opportunity for the developing soccer player to improve their own technical ability but also enhance their understanding of important principles relating to positioning, movement, and support as part of a team. The morning sessions create an environment that allows clear progression through themes specific to the game of soccer such as: passing and movement to possess, defending as a team, creating chances in attack. Using a carefully designed curriculum, each player has the opportunity to further develop their soccer skills and knowledge individually, or as part of their team.
*GK’s receive specific technical sessions within a group environment and then progress to working with their own team for finishing related practices.
In the afternoon session we will come together to play 11v11 games. The camp will be capped at 100 players so that we are able to accommodate round-robin style 11v11 friendly tournament. This session encourages the players to put into practice what they have learned in the morning session and of course enjoy the game.
We encourage team coaches to come along and observe the sessions, or work with our coaching staff throughout the day. Our coaching staff can also provide coaching resources related to the content provided during the camp sessions. We believe in the importance of sharing knowledge and therefore actively encourage coaches to be present and will be available to offer guidance and answer any questions coaches may have throughout the day.
