  • How do I apply?

    All registrants can apply online through the website. If you are unable to apply online please contact us and we can forward an application to you.

  • Are there any discounts?

    There are no discounts for the college ID camps.

  • Can I pay by credit card?

    Yes, your entire payment will be taken when registering on line. If you are unable to pay on-line you must request and complete a registration form then return this with a check for your place to be reserved at camp. Please contact soccerfutures@gmail.com to request a registration form.

  • What do I bring to camp? What should I wear?

    For 1 day college ID camps please wear soccer shorts, t-shirt and soccer socks. You should also bring shin pads, rainwear and soccer shoes appropriate for both grass and turf. If you have a ball please bring it with you although this is not essential.

    For week long day camps please wear soccer shorts, t-shirt, and soccer socks. You should also bring shin pads, sun lotion, rain wear and soccer shoes appropriate for both grass and turf. Please also remember to bring a ball, lunch, and snacks for throughout the day as well as a refillable water bottle.

  • Should I bring a snack?

    Yes, for the ID camps please be sure to bring lunch and a snack with you. Water will be available throughout the day but remember to bring a water bottle that can be refilled. You may also want to bring Gatorade. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies please be sure to highlight on the camp health Questionnaire and waiver forms and also inform the athletic trainer at registration.

    For the week long day camps be sure to bring a snack with you and if you will be participating in the full day camp, bring lunch.   • Are the camps for Girls and Boys?

    Week long day camps are open to Boys and Girls aged 4-15yrs. Campers will be put into groups relative to their age and ability so that we can provide the best development environment for them throughout camp.

    ID Camps and Residential are Girls only camp programs.

  • Who will be the coaches?

    ODU Women’s soccer staff will be in attendance and on the field coaching ALL SoccerFutures camps

    One Day ID camps: ODU’s Head coach and Assistant coaches will lead all practice sessions and games throughout the day. Current players from the ODU Women’s soccer team will also be present throughout the day to assist.

    Elite Residential camp – ODU women’s Coaching staff will lead this camp and be on the field every session working with campers. Experienced coaching staff from other D1, D2, and D3 Colleges will also make up part of the staff allowing each camper to be exposed to top level coaches from numerous College programs.

    Week long day camps will be coached by ODU Women’s soccer staff as well as other experienced local staff. These camps will also have ODU soccer players as part of the on field staff.

  • Is there a commuter option for the residential camps?

    Yes, you may commute to and from the sessions of the 3 day residential camp. We will provide a schedule of arrival and departure times each day. Any campers commuting would receive all meals except breakfast. Please ensure to select the commuter option when registering.

  • What happens if I get injured or sick during camp?

    A certified Athletic Trainer will be in attendance during the camp to deal with any emergencies that should arise. Please ensure you list an emergency contact on the medical form in case of emergencies. All applicants must complete the Health Questionnaire and waiver before participating. No campers will be permitted to participate without these completed forms. No refund will be issued if you are not able to continue in the session.

  • What if I get sick or injured and cannot attend camp? Do I get a refund?

    In the case of injury or sickness, campers must submit a physician’s statement concerning their inability to participate to receive a full refund minus 25% for administration. If you are unable to participate in the session for any reason no refund will be issued.

  • Can I reserve a space in the camp?

    No reservations can be made, you can only reserve your place by registering on-line or by submitting an application with full payment.

  • Will there be Goalkeeping specific training available?

    Yes, we will have a Goalkeeper coach on staff to work with the any goalkeepers who attend. A specific technical session will be provided as well as integrated practices and games.

  • What is the best airport to fly into and how do I get from the airport to camp?

    Norfolk International Airport is the closest airport to the University (20 mins). We cannot provide transportation to and from Norfolk International Airport, however Taxis are easily available. Soccer futures staff can help organize, please contact soccerfutures@gmail.com.

  • Is there a local hotel I can stay at?

    Yes, The Springhill Suites by Marriott Hotel is based on campus and a 5 minute walk to the Soccer fields. Please contact the Hotel directly for reservations:

  • Are parents permitted to watch?

    Yes, parents can come to watch their child participate during training and games.

  • Will the Old Dominion Coaches be in attendance?

    Yes, all sessions will be coached by the Old Dominion Women’s soccer staff.
