Each 3 hour session
will consist of a Lecture presentation providing key principles regarding the holistic development of
female soccer players, including information on athletic development, technical practice and tactical
education and how this relates to the overall development of a ‘team mentality’.
An on-field
practical session will then follow demonstrating some of the principles discussed and specific exercises
used to enhance the athletic, technical, and game awareness skills of youth players.
Presenting
coaches will be available for Q and A on the session afterwards in the lecture room.

Angie Hind has over 20 years
coaching experience at the highest level both in D1 college and as a National coach with the
Scottish National team. Having spent 8 years at the helm of Dartmouth College and 9 leading
Old Dominion Women’s Soccer, Hind has won no fewer than 3 different Championships: Ivy
League, Conference USA, and Sunbelt. At the highest level she has coached the Scottish
Women’s ‘A’ squad as well as serving as National Scout at the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Hind
has also served as a Coach Educator for 5 years with the Scottish FA and herself holds the
UEFA ‘A’ License as well as UEFA ‘Youth’ and ‘Children’s’ Licenses. She has also served as a
guest clinician for the NSCAA National convention. As a player Hind also represented her
native Scotland at National level for 3 years and domestically captained club team, FC
Kilmarnock to every domestic trophy in the Scottish game. |

Michelle Barr, a UEFA ‘A’ License
holder, has been coaching professionally and at the highest level in Women’s Soccer for 15
years. Barr was the former Captain of the Scottish Women’s National ‘A’ squad representing
her country on 83 occasions. Her experience playing professionally in England, Iceland and
the US provides her with a unique wealth of experience at the highest level in Europe and
here in states. Transferring her playing background to coaching, at the Division 1 College
level she has coached in the Ivy League, at Dartmouth College, and is currently an integral
member of the coaching team at Old Dominion University. Internationally she has coached at
the highest level in her former role as Youth National Coach and National Program Manager
for the Scottish Football Association, as well as serving as National Scout. |
